Consumer TV Repair Tips

My TV was fine and I turned it off to go to bed, when I got up the next morning it would not come on. The power button lights up for just a few minutes and goes back off. The screen stays black the whole time. Does anyone know what it might be?

No indication that a problem was coming. Just turned it on one day and the picture was blurry. Not snowy, not wavy, just blurry. Bought the tv new in 1997 and it has never needed service before.

I've had this 60" model tv since 1998. It has been amazing. However, after over 10 yrs of service, it now needs replacement lamps. With a relative "dinosaur" of a television, it has been difficult to find these.

Picture is missing one of the three primary colors. Can this be repaired at a reasonable cost? If yes, what part(s) must be replaced?

I was given a Sony KPR-46EX20 big screen tv and I pluged it in a it seems to work fine except the picture is dark the color is great and dosent seem to affect anything. The tint on the projection is dark and makes things hard to see. Any Ideas or help would be greatly appriceated.

1995 Panasonic CT-31620T Picture Jumps. What to do? It does it sporadically and there don't seem to be any controls for this on the set.

I lost all audio on 1/2 the stations, not in sequence though. any ideas?

The back of the television suffered some damage in transit a long while ago. The small shielded box when the coax connects was broken loose from the plastic case. Front panel controls and the remote appear to work. I can get audio clearly, but no video. When the television is turned off, there is a horizontal flash in the center of the screen. Thanks for your assistance!
